This is my first post . Took my son in law and his dad fishing Saturday. We launched the boat with little trouble not many people at the public ramp. Motor on out of the canal. Rounded the end of the pier when the wind hit us, I decided not to go to far until we seen what the wind was going to do. We started fishing just past the first bird roost about 9:00. Drifted a little while nothing but some pin fish. Moved in toward Dickle started catching some shorts at first then caught two keepers in the 19" range off of new penny and nuclear chicken gulps under a ct .Caught a few more .decided to make a run to spring warrior picked up another keeper around the tripod and some more shorts. Worked our way back stopping here and there picking up a few mainly shorts .The wind started picking up again finished out the day drifting south of the channel picked up a few more keepers and and small cobia was off the water by 5:30 with 11 keepers the smallest 17" with the biggest at 20". Ended the day with a fish fry and seeing my new grandson
