That's one of the issues with fishing/staying over there...it's a really neat place to visit and fish, but if you ain't got a place by now, you probably won't be anywhere close to Port Saint Joe.
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
Didn't make it over there to fish this past weekend as my fishing partner cancelled on me, but I'm heading over tomorrow morning bright and early to give it a go.
