Likin Icky
Took the day off to fish Icky with a friend who has put in alot of fishing hours there and it showed. We put in around 10'oclock the first time, yeah i flooded the engine to the point of new spark plugs. We reloaded, bought 2 more, replaced and put in for the second time. Now we were fishing.
.For the first hour the water was still with not much wind.We caught a couple of shorts, some cats, and a lady so we went looking for some better bottom and we found it. With the welcomed light wind we set up a drift .Not long after, i heard my buddys drag singing BIG TROUT,grabbed the net and boated the 24.5 inch 4 lb bigon. We made several more drifts picking up more nice fish including a 22 and 18 inch trout several slot reds and my first black drum(17 incher). Now i know why my buddy likes icky so much.Going back Saturday for more.We were in 3 foot of water using what else but GULP.Sorry no pics just yet, left camera at work. Will post them soon.
