I have had trouble with the leader twisting up got any ideas

Are you trolling a spoon behind the planer? The only reason I ask is that this can be a problem with trolling spoons. The solution is a ballbearing swivel tied in somewhere ahead of the spoon.

im using a seven inch gold lure for grouper how long of leader would be good behind the planer
