Tournament Day at the Bay

Post by MudDucker »

What a day on da Bay! Somehow we ended up first out of da basin. Ran down behind Black's Island where the short hords were last week and they were again yesterday. Picked up two keepers and plinked da dinks back. Lost two suspended mirror lures and no more keepers. Ran to the other side of Blacks, saw a school moving off of a point, so we anchored and commenced to live bait fishing. Da blues were happy to see us. Decided to try the church run and off we ran. Nope, more shorties. Ran back to back bay and started drifting again. One more keeper. I lost two nice trout and one was a hoss. Mullet lost a redfish. There were some accusations that WAM knocked it off with the net, but I was in the back of the boat and can not testify :smt005 Lot of fun and we placed 8th overall. Won some grubs from Advantage Marine in the drawings

Good to meet you too Birddog.

Ole WAM was watching a redfish tournament today and one of the guys trying to net a redfish knocked him probably costing that team a $75k prize and he tried to squirm out by saying his mistake wasn't nearly that bad :smt005
