Lanark 5/5

Post by Hammer »

Loaded up my daughter and her cousins yesterday to celebrate the end of the semester. We were at Lanark by 7:15 and one of the first in line to get unloaded. We had KC and the sunshine boys following us on the Malibu to run a tandem trip over to DI. We were on the reef by 8:00 and spanish were cutting off 60#leader. Finally things settled down and started boating some fish. The weather was the best I had seen all year with just a light fog to start out the morning. We had to make it a short trip because the wife had plans for party in Cairo.
Totals for the day
6 trout
5 spanish
4 Blues
We seemed to have a full tide all day long which must had slowed the bite.
