Spring Creek 5/06/07

Had the day to myself so I decided to do some 'splorin. On the water by 0730 (no flats this time).The morning was slow with just a couple of short reds to show then after the tide started coming back in I finaly started boating some fish. The high lite of the day was a 23" trout that surprised me. Only took one trout home for supper but the kids talked me into pizza instead :smt011 . Over all it was pretty slow, five reds with only two in the slot and five trout, no shorts. I guess I spent too much time riding and looking :P Off the water at 1500. No flats on the way home either :thumbup: :thumbup:

Glad to hear you made it out to Spring Creek. Seems like you did better than we did... Good job AJ :thumbup: :thumbup:

BTW- TIP ** the best time to go sploring down there is in the middle of winter. MJ

I do that to, I usually come from Panacea/ Bottoms area. :thumbup:

Thanks for the hometown report. I was away this weekend and wondered what was going on back here.
