Haven't posted in a while thought I'd give a quick report. We hit the water at daylight went to the rock garden and immediatly catching trout. By 9:00 had 7 trout. Slowed for us after that. Only picked 3 more till about 3:00. Our buddies in another boat did just about opposite. They had nothin till about 10:00 and limited out after that. Our fish were all good fish 18-20" fish. Most caught working the bottom with a jig in 3.5-4 ft of water. Couldn't bye a bite on a plug or cork. Great condition all day , just a little hot in the afternoon. Heard some forum members on the radio, such as Welby. Also saw "Sea spot" at the ramp coming in. He informed me he was buying BD's boat. I didn't know I've been out of the loop for a while. Sorry no pics, I usually do but the digital camera is on the blink right now. Maybe next time.

Hey Sea Spot, Glad to see you got you a boat. You must have figured something out that I didn't b/c it took me about 3 years to get my boat after our second young'in. Remember grandparents are more willing to keep two than three so you may want to slow it down while you have a leg up on your brother. Be careful on the "NO DIRT" thing b/c I'm sure some of our friends in the class behind you would sing like canaries with a little prodding(or simply a natural light). :D :D

Had planned on taking the wife and kids until one of them got sick Saturday morning. We need to get together and go.
