Bigger?

Post by AJ »

Is it just me or do the trout this spring seem bigger than in recent years? Maybe my fishing has changed, maybe I have just been lucky, but I don't catch nearly as many shorts as I used to. In the last two years I have caught more 20"+ trout than I can remember catching in many years past. What say you?

That could be a viable argument, except he also hangs around people like me :D

I've been catching a lot more little trout this year than I was, but so far this year I've had unlimited use of a powerboat, too. I chalk this up to meaning that I've been doing a lot more running around than fishing, and not covering good areas as thoroughly. I've been jumping from good place to good place and not fishing any of them very well.

That's a problem a lot of people have. If more people started out fishing in small boats and learned how to cover areas before they buy nice bay boats they would be better fishermen. IMHO.

And yes...I do drink more :P
