Shell Point 5-12

Got in early (6:15) and hit up the 'secret oyster bar' - C&Red 4 decent redfish on my now trusty She Dog (black body, yellow head). Caught a couple short reds on a white Exude RT Slug too. Couldn't find a fish to save my life after the sun got hot around 10. Putted around, saw Ty One On, motored over to the West Flats with no luck, - wind stopped and it got HOT - took it to the hill.

One unusual (for me) experience today - I cought a catfish on a MR51 MirroLure. Never had a catfish hit a hard bait before if memory serves.

That trusty She Dog, black body and yellow head, is also a trout killer at breaking day..Only thing is, a sail cat will go out of his way to hit it too....I usually fish with one about every time I go...

Had to replace hooks on 2 She-Dogs last week after catching 6 of them slime monsters, they slammed the lures with all they had embedding the hooks deep in their leather maws.

Caught sail cats on topwater, suspending mirrolures and nearly everything else.

Had one day that the Sailcats hit the suspending catch 2000 like it was cut bait. 20 plus fish.
