I am convinced that the palomar is next to worthless with floro leader. And this is after it was my favorite knot for years. Too many break offs right where it fed thru the eye of the hook or lure. I have pretty much switched to nothing but uni knots. As long as you wet that sucker first, it holds longer than the line, and i cant break the line even with the drag cranked as tight as it will go. There may be stronger knots, but baitcasting with braid, the uni is pretty durn close to 100%.

The Yucatan is similiar to the albright. Used to tie with a loop knot to leader.
