A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
I picked up one of the new US Reel Supercast (I think that's the name of it) from So. GA. Outdoors a week ago and finally got to use it Saturday. This reel is smooth, holds a bunch of line and better still is how light weight it is. The spare spool, freeline switch and a great drag system should make this reel a common sight on the flats. I was throwing plugs all day Saturday (7:30 Am -6:30 PM fishing hard) without feeling like my arm was going to fall off.
If anyone is looking for a reel, for themselves or anybody else (Father's Day is getting closer you know ) I was highly impressed with this one. Go get one and give it a try.

The reel comes in four versions and was invented by Ray Scott for LM bass fishing with light line. It has the lager spool that is braid friendly. Supposedly the longest casting spinning reel in its class on the market.
