Had to go work at Alligator Point today, so I decided to take a few rods along since I have no time to fish because of work  Drove over to St. Theresa to try a spot that I haven't fished in a few years....decided to go "old school" and wade out since I didn't have the boat with me. Started throwing live scrimps under a CT and started the morning off with 2 hardheads and a stingray :x The day was starting out just great  Then around 10:30am, the trout turned on with a vengeance! The first one slammed the CT and ran like a spanish...I got it to the top and it fought all the way to me splashing the top of the water the entire way! I didn't bring the net out with me 'cause I didn't expect to catch much......I got it unhooked and hugged it till I could get it on the stringer. Put on another scrimp and almost immediately, BAMMMM!!!!!! When I pulled back I knew this was a BIG trout!....25" to be exact. I fought the fish for 2-3 minutes before finally getting it within reach. While trying to put it on the stringer, it flopped and back into the water it went :x ....remember, dummy left the net at home. After a few choice words of disgust, I baited up again. About 2 minutes later, a nice spanish hit the scrimp. Over the next hour I caught 6 trout, 3 spanish and missed a few others. Only 1 trout was under 20" :o The bite finally slowed aroud noon, so I headed back to the shore with my one BIG 24" trout in tow. Great morning on...I mean in...the water. Might do it again later this week.

Sorry, no pics. Left the camera at home with my good net
