fenholloway 5-12 and 5-13 NO GULP!

Post by electric chicken »

Could have been better, but could have been worse. We ended the weekend with 16 trout, none under 18 inches, 3 spanish, and 3 rock bass. Caught a lot of ladyfish and i even got my first cobia...too bad it was about 12 inches too short. I made him promise he would come back when he was a little older! Here's the kicker....none of the fish were caught on Gulp! Caught everything on either a pink and white Catch 2000 or a white and pink curly tail grub. I guess they were wanting old school bait! Sorry i didn't get any pics, we carried the camera, but no batteries! :smt013 All in all me and the wife got on the water and had a great weekend!
I'd rather be lucky than good.

16 trout over 18 inches sounds like a pretty fair haul to me
