Panacea 5-17

Post by bman »

My wife had a friend in from New York City and wanted her to see the Dolphin So we ran down to Panacea after work.

Our friend Irene on the left- my wife on the right.

After some dolphin watching I convinced them to let me fish :D

The heartbreak was a +25inch trout that my wife knocked off the line with the net...
She did her best but the fish lunged and she caught the lure in the net.
The big one flipped out and swam away..... :smt009

I let the girls drag Gulp under a Cajun thunder and they caught a couple of small ones...
Here is Irene very proud of her catfish

My limit of trout- Minus the big one that got away... Caught them on top water- near the long bar.

Finished the day with steamed oysters at Hookwrecks!
Another great quick trip...

Man, Letting a newyorker fish in our water... I just don't know about that.

What if she goes back and talks and shows the pictures and brings more back with her... I just don't know about that.

Hope she didn't get that northern white skin too sunny! I'm sure it must have been a thrill for Irene.
