Keaton 5/16 - 5/20

Gonna be inshore fishing out of Keaton Wednesday thru Sunday. Headed down with a good friend from Pennsylvania and I'm hoping to show him some good fishing in the beautiful gulf coast. We'll be staying at the Marina. If anyone has plans to head down drop me a note or give me a shout on the radio and we'll try to get together.

I was fishing with Ddb on Wednesday and part of Thursday. I have to be at work today but he and another friend are still down in Keaton Beach. I know he will give a full report, just thought I would get the report started for him. We fished with Capt Pat McGriff on wednesday, limited out on trout with a 24'' and 26'' (5lb), and a 20'' red. On Thursday, we did good on trout as well but also throw in 2 reds and a cobia for good measure. Only saw 4 - 5 boats on both days. Gosh, I love fishing in week days.

Is it really worth taking the trip to keaton beach from tallahassee? Ive seen a few threads about it however I dont yet have a boat so Im stuck fishing inshore.

. We usually goto panacea and fish off the long pier at mash sands. However im sick of catching macks in the shallow waters. How deep is the pier and what can I expect to catch out there?
