TRANSLATION Since my regular Seatrout partner and my backup partner both abandoned me to go fish in Key West,I had to secure another partner for the May Seatrout event. Ashley Mock was willing to fish with me. We fished the Keaton area. The bite was not fast but we did release 5 trout over 24" We kept a 24 and a 27.
Back at the weigh in we won BIG FISH at 5#7 oz. and FIRST PLACE total weight at 14#11 oz.

It was a good tournament. Team Smith had over 13 lbs. and did not get in the money. We fished the Shell Point area and weighed a 22", 21", two over 19", and one over 18".

All of our fish were caught on bone diamond color grubs with pink 1/4 oz. heads.

We also caught two Cobia that were under size and a Pompano that we kept.

Way to go JT51
If we were all crazy, Wouldn't that make us all normal.

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".
