Memorial Day Weekend....

... I will be taking the family down to Mexico Beach, and will probably take my boat. Just wondering if anybody had any suggestion on where to fish. I've been out of Presnell's a couple of times, but someone was telling me about a boat ramp just west of Mexico Beach. Dirt ramp, West Pass? Not sure. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

Don't try to fish around Dog Island on Monday. DON'T DO IT! ITs the White Trash Bash, and they mean it.

The grass beds to the west of St Joe marina towards the mouth are really good this time of year. Also the beach for cobes. Run around to the back side of Blacks island from Presnells and limit on trout quickly. For reds the back side of the bay as well as Sticky flats is good. Like always, watch for bars especially east of the run. Good fishing!!!

Oh yea, I dont know how big of a boat your running but the buoy line straight southwest of the canal has som really big flounder and bull reds this tme of the year. Go with bull minnows on the bottom or a gold bucktail slow on the bottom.

Yea, the fishing might be a little tough during the "white trash bash." But from the looks of the pictures

some of the folks are having a pretty good time.
