How to find max rpm for outboard?

We have a 2002 200 hp Mercury Saltwater outboard (Carbed) and I am trying to find the max rpm to determine if the setup we have is performing optimally. Anyone know it or where I can find it? Thanks for any help.

Mercury will tell you 5500 to 5600. It'll do just fine up to 6000.
What was I supposed to do today?
