Seeking opinions

Post by Jumptrout51 »

I've been thinking North Florida Gulf Fishing Club aka NFGFC could sponsor a KIDS Tournament for members;Kids, grandkids, nephews, nieces,or borrowed kids.
Not species specific. Anything they catch counts.
Every kid wins something. Two categories, ages 10 and under/11-17.
8 a.m. til 1p.m.
Hotdogs afterwards.
What are your opinions?

Well,I received one opinion via PM. Seems we have a sponsor for the KIDS tourney, should we have one.
This sponsor will remain anonymous until I have more input from club members.
Please don't make me refund his $500 sponsor gift.

How about a kids division in one of the torunaments that way everyone has planned to go and can just make it into more of a fun thing.

Don't have any nieces/nephews local or any of mine that are old enough; but, I'll help out however I can. I think its a good idea.

All members kids are currently eligible to participate in the Junior Angler program as part of the regular tournament program.
I'm talking about a JUST FOR KIDS day. They get all the help and attention and prizes/awards we adults are patient enough to give them on that day. Give them the spotlight.
I'm just asking for 1 day.

I can take a hint. I also think I can make arrangements to help sponsor this tourney. Any particular dollar figure in mind cause I have to run this by the HMFIC and Majority shareholder, my old man. He ain't no big fisherman by but he tends to support outdoor organizations especially when they involve his family.
