Put in around 9:00 and fished towards Aucilla all day. Probably the slowest day I've had in the last 5-6 weeks. Worked from inside the creek mouths to 7' and only ended up with 4 keeper trout(17-19"), 1 Red 23", 1 Sheepie, and 1 rock bass. The most exciting part of the day was watching my partner get spooled by something before I could get the trolling motor up and the big one cranked. In hindsight it probably saved me from tearing something up trying to chase a fish through the bars we were around. The crazy thing is 20 minutes later we are in the mouth of the next creek and he says I must have thrown across you b/c I have your line. Well its not mine but something is still attached to it but before he could get the line to the boat the fish took off again. Lost the opportunity for a heck of a story but it was a good day on the water. I was surprised at the few amount of boats. It sounds like I missed that party on Saturday.

Here are a couple pics with the kids on Saturday. Notice how low my pond is, another month w/ no rain they will be able to walk out and pick them up

Absolutely priceless pictures of the kids. You are a lucky man. If I had that pond and those kids....you'd never find me at Econfina ... it won't get any better than that while they are young
