hunting club openings

Post by cleanlivin »

Have one maybe two openings in S.W. Ga hunting club. We have approx 2400 acres under QDM. We currently have 16 members with a nice camp with electric and water. Dues are $1575 yr plus $250 first time member fee. We also get to hunt turkeys on about 1000 acres of this lease.

Gotta love when the table turn, as soon as deer season starts all the FL boys who talk about GA license plates filling up the boat ramp parking lots on the flats start funneling into the S GA woods like crazy. I guess it goes both ways. :D

Heres the difference though,

Florida Annual Saltwater
Resident $13
Non-Res $30

Georgia Annual Big Game Hunting
Resident $9
Non-Res $135

Whats up with that, I guess you guys are lucky we're a tourist state.

I might be interested in looking at the land but only interested in the turkey hunting, you guys can have all the deer you want. Would you consider a cut rate just for a spring turkey hunter?

This post is just plain dishonest comparing fishing fees to hunting fees. :smt011

Florida Hunting:

Resident $ 12.00
Non-Res $ 151.50

Georgia Fishing:
Resident $ 9.00
Non-Res $ 24.00

Every way you look at it, Florida screws the Georgia residents harder than the reverse. Georgia raised its rates in retaliation of Florida screwing Georgia residents.

Keep'n it Real!

Not trying to de-rail the man's thread here but..... How many folks do you know , from Florida, that go to GA to fish? And why would they? Now how many folks do you know, from Florida, that go to GA to hunt? Or better yet, come from Ga to hunt Fl?

GA= better hunting
FL= better fishing

At the end of the day, you gotta pay to play these days. I think that stating that "Florida screws the Georgia residents harder than the reverse" is "just plan dishonest".

I guess it all depends on which side you sit.......
