Got there to fish the toruny and I must have got the wrong landing.

Decided to go ahead and fish out of there anyway. Wind was up and a slight drizzle was on, so I suited up in my rain gear and ran on out. Went towards the Aucilla, with both bilges running wot. :o

Since I was already out there determination set in; so I went up a creek to escape the chop that seemed to be increasing steadily.

First cast I hooked up on a 39" Cobia, landed him in record time when he jumped and a wind gust blew him in the boat. I thought it was strange that a cobe would be that far up a creek, but I wasn't going to throw him back! 8)

Fished a while longer, had the area completely to myself, what solitude! :-D

Couldn't buy another bite, so I headed on in. I was reel surprised how my boat handled in the not so calm water, got a good one! :D

No pictures as my camera got soaked, rats! :-?

Where were y'all with the tournament today anyways? :-?
