memorial day cobia

Post by SHOWBOAT »

As I mentioned in Bad Behavior's earlier post, my wife landed a beautiful cobia last Monday on one of my inshore rods. I was really hoping to revisit the spot this Saturday during the tournament. Looks like the weather will keep us at bay.

Since Katie is finally back from Orlando I thought I would share some pics.

As for info, we ran out of the Econfina and the lure was a 1/4 oz jig tipped with a jerk shad.

Thanks for the responses; Katie really likes reading the posts. I think you guys might have earned me another fishing trip or two. 8)

Either Katie's really small or that cobe's really large!!! Good catch there Katie!! Kudos to you Showboat for getting her on the boat, nothing like sharing times like that with your sweetie
