Yep but, never chased anything bigger than reds and trout on the flats. I have been known to resort to rainbows and browns up here. As a matter of fact I'm headed up to the Cumberland this weekend

I'm headed to Pennsylvania tonight to do a little fly fishing for the next couple of days. Probably going to get a little practice at the stock pond first though  My inlaws live in rural PA and there is an old guy just outside of the "burrough" that has a stock pond full of rainbows, goldies and browns. Gonna start there just for fun and then move on to a few of the streams in the local mountains

I'm presently armed with a rod, reel, and line. It looks very pretty and I can make a sweet 15 foot cast. Does that make me a flyfisherman?

Started fishing Homosassa in the spring of 90 for tarpon. The tarpon fishing was a part of the reason I decided on the Apalach area to live. Yea, I like to fly fish
:smt004 I'm going to the back of the room now and Capt. Ron can teach the class, okay! Do you tie flies, too? Did you ever get into rod building? Send me a pm :email: we need to talk!

Rocket, I guess I'm glad I didn't say I like to whip the short, skinny embarrrasing little rod around.

I tie them feathers too, that's just about as fun as catching them, to me anyway.
