fluorocarbon line besides the price?

I use fluorocarbon line a lot, mainly for its superior toughness and abrasion resistance, it doesn't "nick" near the hook/lure after you have caught a few fish, which mono tends to do.
It also is less visible in water than mono, doesn't UV degrade as quickly and is low stretch.
In an active days fishing I would change a mono leader anything between 5 and 10 times, I don't usually change a fluoro leader for a few trips.
I also have it straight through on a couple of my reels.
