Weedeater; Water in the Carb

Post by Ron Wilson »

O.K. you self-proclaimed mech's. I've got a weedeater that was left outside and I think we have some water in the carb. Was thinking about draining the fuel and changing the spark plug. Looking for some ideas on how to get the water out of the carb (assuming that's my problem).

Thanks in advance.

Set it out on my patio for an hour or two. Thermometer reads 100 degrees.

Been trying that for about an hour now, after I put a little rubbing alcohol to clean the parts.
