d-tox,

That's an exceptional price. Was that from BPS's or somewhere else? The ones I found were the rods only. Sounds like you got a real deal with the total package.

d-tox- what kind of reels do you have on yours? I have two and bought some cheap Zebco spincasts to put on but they are miserable little reels. I paid only $5 a piece for the reels so I guess you get what you pay for.

Sabiki Rods

Post by d-tox »

They were from BPS. I get weekly e-mails from them and they sometimes put merchandise on sale as "first come, first served". They have Shakespeare Pro Touch reels on them. Nothing fancy, but hey, they're just reeling up bait.

BTW guys... E-angler, BoatUS, and Cabelas all have e-mail specials that you can sign up for. They come as e-mails and some even have internet coupons for additional savings.

Another great internet resource is e-bay. You can save a particular search, for example "sabiki rods", and have them inform you by e-mail when one comes on the site for auction. I have purchased some great reels using this feature.
