AUCILLA 6/15 W/ TWO SOLDIERS

Post by CROCKER »

FISHED MOSTLY EAST OF AUCILLA, THEN SOUTH, THEN WEST. CAUGHT 4 TROUT (LARGEST 21"), COUPLE OF SAILCATS, COUPLE OF BLUES, COUPLE OF SHARKS, COUPLE OF LADYFISH AND A GAZILLION CATFISH AND PINFISH. A FUN TIME WAS HAD.

IN HIND SITE:

TWO UN-EXPERIENCED FISHERMEN IN THE BOAT IS A LITTLE MORE THAN I CAN HANDLE. NEXT YEAR ONE SOLDIER.

6 BAGS OF GULP FOR MOSTLY CATFISH AND PINFISH IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. NEXT YEAR AND FOR THE REMAINDER OF THIS YEAR HARD BAITS ONLY, MAYBE DURING THE WINTER GO BACK TO FISHING GULP WHEN THE PINFISH AND OTHER UNDISIRABLES THIN OUT.

BRAIDED LINE, WIND, AND LACK OF EXPERIENCE; NOT GOOD.

I DID HAVE A FUN TIME AND LOOK FORWARD TO NEXT YEARS TOURNAMENT.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE TOURNAMENT RESULTS.

Crocker, I know they had a good time because they were talking about it the whole way back to the Wakulla Bank! Way to show them a good time!

It is not about their experience as fishermen, it is about their experience to allow you to sleep safely at night.

Crocker. Thanks for giving the soldiers a great experience and one that will carry them through until 2009 when they are back to fish the Classic again.
