Nice landmark in the background of this one.

Here is Bert with the big boy of the day

I finally caught my first cobia, it was only 22", but made my day.

Saw a pod of dolphins cruising the flats, looking for the same thing we were. Ran the boat up to them and they joined us for the cruise. Their were 2 on the right of the boat, 2 on the left and 2 up front. They hung around for 5 minutes or so. You never know what your gonna run into out there.

Around high tide we went in and tried to harass the reds. We got 5 in about an hour, no keepers, and then got sick of fighting the onshore breeze.

Saturday we got up and fished for a couple hrs. Had to quit @ 9am to head back to ALB. Managed 4 keeper trout and lost a couple nice fish. Ladies and blues were everywhere. Right before we called it a day I was fishing the smallest little grunt under a CT and had yet another close encounter of the SILVER kind. A 100+ pound tarpon nailed the grunt, but the hook pulled and he hauled azzzz leaving a hole in the water. That doesn't ever get old. Great trip down, Bert's first time on the Senorita and only had a minor broken part...so....it's all good.
