Fishing in Baghdad
Thought you guys would find this interesting...
My Father in Law is a civilian contractor in Baghdad.
He and a few Iraqi buddies went fishing and then cooked up the catch.
They are cast netting what look to be carp from one of Saddam's private lakes.
Here is my Father in Law holding one up...
They split them down the back and then roast them on an open fire.
Some of the guys
This is my father in law on the left
Looks just like something you would see in Wakulla!!

Thanks Barry. It is good to see pictures from that region of people actually enjoying an evening around a fire with friends (something we in America can relate to).
Not at all what the media typically portrays. It is nice to know that something like that is taking place in addition to all the chaos we hear about daily.

In the end we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we are taught.
