Got to Lanark at daylight. met EddieJoe for the first time at the ramp Headed for the Grouper out from DI, stopped dead at the point and turned around Saw BOB as they just cruised on by Hit the first cove and got a 21" and a 17" started trolling toward the Marine Lab, hooked a Spanish and had my hook straitened out =( setup a drift in front of the lab and caught our limit of Trout in about an hour, then started culling for the next hour "wound up with 10 from 17"s to 22"s" The wind died somewhat, so we headed offshore again. Trolled for around 3 hours and got 2 real nice Spanish but no Grouper, then headed home Still a great day on the water with my nephew and some fresh fish for dinner It don't get much better Oh, and my nephew caught a Grouper on the inside of DI "around 8"s"
Went out of Mashes Sands by myself on Sunday, trolled for Grouper for around three hours with no takers went in to try the Trout and Reds around the Oyster bars with only 1 strike in one hour and I missed it" got distracted by the BBB, Boat with Babes and Beer"

I'll be out of Lanark early tomorrow and I'd like to know how you enticed those trout? I assume you were inside of the shoal in front of the Lab? Thanks for the report.
Actualy, we was on the outside of the shoals when we came over from DI, we just stoped about 500 yards from the channel marker, and eased in till we had 6 feet under us. Then let the wind blow us back towards Lanark We caught all of our Trout on the white/red Rip Tide shrimp 3 foot under a CT.

Thanks, I'll report Wed.
By the way, I live in the county too. I'll be at tonights commission meeting -ought to be "entertaining". I'll really need to fish after that.

Sounds like I need to check with you wevans before I fish -- we fished hard Saturday out of Lanark with nothing but a couple of shorts to show for it. Fished jigs and live finger mullet but nothing worked. I'm thinking we must have been too far west. Fished both sides of Lanark Reef and on the inside of DI. But the most important part was that I was able to spend a good day on the water with my son and that's plenty for me.
