Shell Point 6-23

Started right after daylight. 1st fish was a 21" trout on a skitterwalk. Love that topwater!

We fished till around noonish and finished with a 2 man limit of trout. Most were 17"-18". We cooked 4 of them for lunch with cheese grits , puppies and taters.

Stopped in the bay on the way out to the flats and tried some reds but no takers. I NEED to catch a red right now...

Just that one, I guess the sun coming up killed the bite. Although I had several good strikes, I never hooked up.

The bait of the day was a swimmer.
