Aucilla sat. 6/30

Post by fisherman4 »

Left Thomasville at 5:15 and got on the water at about 7. We headed out of the Aucilla and went to our spot. Well before we knew it, it was 12:00 and we ran that route 4 or 5 times and had 14 trout in the boat. We ended up with 14 keeper trout, a few rock bass. We caught about 20 trout that were around 14 inches. We caught alot of junk fish and 6 sharks, one of which was around 3 ft. We loaded up the boat at about 12:45 and headed back to T-Ville. The Gulps did the trick today, until the junk fish tore them all up. Then we went to candy corn colored salt water assassins.

We also caught alot of somthing that I have never known what they were. Most of them today were about 8 in. long. The only way I can think to describe them is they are skinny and they look to me colorwise almost like a rattlesnake. Anybody know what they are???? :-?

If they had a sharp snout, lizard fish would be my guess. Next time lip 'em!!!!  If they bite the chit out of your thumb, definitely lizard fish!!!

No It didnt look like that fish in the picture. But yeah I saw that it had some sharp teeth so it might be that lizard fish.
