Alligator Pt. 7/28-7/29

Post by dawghouse1 »

Sorry for the late report. Fished with a friend Sat. afternoon until the wind blew us off the water and Sun. Morning. The fishing was as slow as it was hot :smt010 . Fished All. Harbor, inside & outside Turkey Pt shoal, & Dog Island Reef. We only had a total of 5 keeper trout for both days. The only fish I put in the box for the weekend was a 25" trout. All(yes all 5 :smt009 ) came off DI Reef. Caught lots of shorts, rock bass, sharks, lizard fish, ladies, etc. Had a great time despite the slow fishing.

Not really BB, only 4-5 boats. There were 3x that around Turkey Pt. but we couln't find any keeper trout or reds there.
