Thanks for the nice comments. I enjoyed reliving the trip by composing this post.

Hey…what are you doing?……… Is that a tickle stick? …….. Heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ………………!!!!
The camera does have limitations underwater (U/W) and the housing is only rated for a depth of 9 feet, however I spent a considerable amount of time bouncing between the surface and 15 feet. I continuously checked the case for an U/W compromise but there were no problems. I’d still be careful. You are taking the risk of a case compromise and if it does leak your expensive camera is toasted (been there…). In researching this decision, a couple of people who reviewed their U/W housing stated they experienced a case compromise but I wrote that off as not paying careful attention to taking care of the O-ring and it’s sealing system.
This camera is much simpler than my dedicated U/W camera system, a Nikonos-V and Nikonos SB 103 strobe, and as such it is much easier to use. Since it’s digital you don’t have to wait for the film to be developed either.

The camera used to take these photos is a Canon PowerShot SD450 Digital Elph (5 Mega Pixels) mated to a Cannon underwater housing.Sir reel wrote: What kind of camera do you use?
