Iamonnia Ramp and fishing

Post by grim reeler »

County road 12 landing is getting higher and drier.

The hole at the bottom of the ramp is just deep enough for me to get my 18' alum. cc off and on the trailer. The bar you have to get over to leave the landing is down to 4"-6". If you cant float in 4", dont go. Looks to be down at least another 4" in the last 2 weeks. Its down to the final inch or 2 for me.

The fish dont seem to notice. Still biting right where I left them last time. Caught (and released)enough bass in less than 2 hours that if it was a tourny, I would have been culling. Saw some nicely filled coolers at the landing from the panfishers.

I think I'm gonna pick up a canoe somewhere. That should get the job done.

Get a big one, or the gators will be laughing at you.

I think the big gators ate all the small ones. Nothing but full grown ones out there now.

Hate to hear about the lack of water, but glad somebody got out and caught some fish.

You should be able to get a jon boat in.

We were bass fishing, but most of the pan fishers are trolling jigs.
