Big Bend Fishing Hats???

Post by DuctTapeKing »

Tom or Chalk or whom ever orders the BB.net stuff. I have looked at the merchandise and was wondering if we could get some hats that were 1. not black 2. golf visor style (white or tan or light blue or pink, for queen b of course). I would love to wear them around here while fishing and what ever. If this is possible I'd like to order a few. Also I will give a couple to my buddy to get some pictures with the hats holding some big reds and trout. If such a thing is possible there is one thing that makes some the golf visor style hats better than others. When purchasing these if it is possible to have a lining that soaks up sweat around the bill that would be even better, also a light none denim or canvas material. I guess I could just pick up a blank visor and have the logo and redfish picture embroidered but to tell you the truth I figure others might want the same type thing. Also I bet if you get some pink ones they would go fast because the fishermen with wives would buy them up!!! I'll be happy to pay a little more for what to get them this way. Just wondering if it's in the realm of possibility. Thanks for any input or discussion.

I had some made back around the time of the Social that came in Khaki and Navy that sold really well. At the time we discussed doing visors, but we never came to a consensus.

Problem with doing hats/visors is I need to buy several at a time to make it worth my time, but that makes it expensive and I can't foot the bill for hats I may or may not sell.

The black hats on Cafe Press are the only ones they sell and they are printed not embroidered.

Flatpicker did my embroidered hats for me and did a good job.

The only way for me to do it now would be
A) a sponsor fronts me some money to get them ordered
B) I take orders for hats/visors until I have enough to place an order (usually a dozen), but that means no one gets one until I order them
C) the hat fairy leaves them under my pillow.

btw, here are the hats I had before...

They will be around 10-12 bucks a piece.

Is there a preference on colors for the visors?

BTW, are you talking about the logo shown on the hats above, or the colored one like the black hats?

I personally like the logo on the hats above. I would take a couple white, kacky or best of all light blue and yes if possible a pink one..but I swear it not for me!!! I'll even get the girl wearing it to take a picture with a her holding a big red while wearing the hat!!! I also think the white embroidering looks better. But as long as its a visor I'm in for four.

If we decide to do some visors, I'll take a couple.

It's great to know that you guys don't leave me out!! I am in for 3 pink visors, if we decide to order. Keith has to have a hat to keep that shinny head safe from the sun, but the girls and I would love visors!
