Put in at the Fort this morning a little before 7:00. Headed East to the Grey Mare area to do some fishing and scalloping. Fished from 3' out to 9' and caught trout, rock bass, a couple small sandbar sharks, and a 3' gar. Fished till about 11:00 then headed in to 4-5' to do some scalloping. Picked up two gallons in 30-40 minutes and called it a day. Probably my last trip in this area for awhile.

Glad to hear the jack plate is working well for ya Futch. The forecast didn't look real good for this trip, but turned out to be the best fishing weather I've had in awhile. Just enough of a breeze to keep us cool and maintain a good drift speed.
