That thread went to about the guy who caught the deer while inshore fishing out of the Aucilla or Ecky? He hog tied it and took back to shore. Had 4 or 5 pics in it? I've looked and did a search and can't seem to find it.

Or do a site search for "deer" and its about the 8th post down in the search results. "Deer Runring good now"

This post is exactly what you describe but the article says its from Chesapeak bay
