Figured that maybe a look back at the January Tournament conditions would help folks tolerate the current heat wave a bit better... :-D

COOL AUGUST

Post by FUTCHCAIRO »

HEY BUD, WAKE UP, WAKE UP, MAN IT IS HOT IN AUGUST. I JUST FINISHED MOWING THE FRONT LAWN, 5 ACRES, AND I AM DRIPPIN WET WITH SWEAT, EVEN WITH MY BLOWER FAN ON THE TRACTOR GOING. MAN WE ARE STILL IN A SEVERE DOUGHT HERE, WENT OVER TO THE POND THIS MORNIN CAUSE I SAW A FLOCK OF CROWS FLYING OVER IT, DEAD FISH ALL OVER THE POND . I WISH I WOULD HAVE KEPT SOME OF THOSE BIG BASS AND PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER WHEN I CAUGHT THEM. THAT IS GOING TO BE A MESS IF WE DO NOT GET ABOUT 30 INCHES OF RAIN TO FILL IT BACK UP.
THE THERAPY I HAVE BEEN DOING HAS JUST ABOUT TAKEN CARE OF THE PAIN THAT I HAD IN MY RIGHT SIDE, WONT BE LONG NOW BEFORE I WILL BE ABLE TO GET BACK DOWN TO THE GULF.
SEE YA

That's not good for your thermometer. You really should put it in the shade.

Problem is if I do that with it in the shade all the time, the rain gauge never registers..... :smt005
