Couldn't scrape up the gas money to get to the flats this weekend, so i did the next best thing. Drove over to Dad's house and woke him up at 6:30 and we hit some of the ponds here on our farm. They are pretty low right now due to all the irrigation we've had to do lately, but we managed to catch a few, the biggest one of the day is in the pic. I would have had a few more pics, but the dang batteries went dead in the camera! :smt013 All things considered, it was still a great time spent with Dad!

Nice bass.
HINT: If you take the plastic wrap off your reel handle you will catch bigger fish. :lol:

I bought that rod about a month ago. That's the first time it's been fishing and the first fish that it's caught! Had to keep the plastic on it just in case i didn't like it, i could take it back! :lol:

Two rules of fishing;
1. Never return fishing equipment.(unless it breaks).
2. See Rule #1.
