A unique website dedicated to fishing information from Florida's Northern Big Bend. This includes the area from the Econfina River west to the Apalachicola River
The secret's in the equipment (shoes), BD. If you are serious about sticking with running for any length of time, get a good pair with a good pair of inserts. Change out running shoes about every six months. The old ones can become your new fishing shoes.
Used to run in Nike's for years, but not recently. Switched to Asics, Adidas, and am now running in Brooks. These outta work for ya, just read some reviews on line. Oh yeah, the other key to avoiding injury is to stretch, stretch, stretch before and after............running.
Took down two Norfork pines about 65 foot each. Had to rope most of the limbs out, top em and chunk the rest of the trees down. Drank about four gallons of water and sweated about six gallons. Changed shirts four times. Came home with rear dragging. Not too interested in exercise.
Hummmm Birddog, am sure you are right. Think I have the perfect answer. If that avatar of your's would just enlarge when I double click, I think the heart rate would jump up there.

Sounds like a normal day for me about 18 years ago when I was with Davey Tree Service I could eat as much of whatever I wanted and never get over 165# then now I eat less in one day than I did then in one meal and gain weight
“Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away from them and you have their shoes.”
It is hard for me to stretch before running you never know when your going to get chased. As for after they always call that resisting and you get free mebership in the Rodney King club.
Just kidding.
