Pflueger Customer Service

Post by Ron Wilson »

Received a Pflueger President WLP baitcaster and Falcon rod as a gift when I retired. Had problems with the reel and sent it back to Pflueger (Shakespeare) for repair. After about six (6) weeks of unanswered e-mails and two phone calls to their Customer Service line (which didn't resolve the issue) was finally told they never received the reel. Voiced my dissatisfaction with the lack of response. Spoke to head of customer service dept and was sent a new reel, nice (yellow) hat and tackle bag. Intent was not to get any free merchandise, rather find out status of my reel repair. Even told them I had the shipment insured, so I was covered (just wanted to know the status). They were insistent on sending the reel, hat and bag...with a letter and a couple e-mails apologizing. They recovered well. I think I'll buy another Pflueger product just to show my appreciation for recognizing a deficiency and being big enough to make it right.

They make some interesting looking reels. Let us know how it works.
