Fish Pond Management Workshop - Thomasville, GA

Post by outdoor7or24 »

Hey Guys, I wanted to let ya'll know about our fish pond management workshop. For ya'll that are not to far from Thomasville, GA, this might be a good day to learn about the biology of the pond and also see some demonstrations on site- electro fishing, fertilizing, weed ID. We will have specialist giving talks as well.

I'll attach a PDF for ya'll to check out. Let me know if you have any more questions.
Cost is $25 for the whole day and includes lunch.

R.J.

Guys, thanks for the interest in the program and the sign-ups. This program is a great general overview of managing fish ponds. I have our biologist coming to speak as well as folks from the USDA, IFAS (University of Florida Extension), and some industry folks as well. We had a large crowd last time and I hope we can make this a yearly event.

***Pesticide Credits will be given, Category 26***

I am also looking for sponsors for the program, and if you like to be a sponsor, you can email or call me for more info.
Check out the Sponsor form below.

Thanks!

I'll speak up and put in a shameless plug here. R.J. has gone to an ENORMOUS amount of trouble to try to make this a first class event. Being an "industry person" I can assure you that if you have a farm pond of any size, then you can learn something form this event that will allow you to better utilize and enjoy your pond. He has some great door prizes for the event as well. If you just don't care at all about your pond, then call R.J. and give him directions.....He likes to fish :-D
