That was very cool. The least amount of bait I've ever used to catch reds was a hook and a 1/4 inch piece of fishbite. Caught 14.
I guess I finally have found a good use for these peppers I grew this year.

looks like a spoon with a worm trailer; one of my favorite bass baits. Why not redfish?
Don't want to have to rebait after getting a couple line cuts in the hand though
