:o Well, Chalkman...normally, I'm kind of blabby, but I decided to sit on this news until things became "official"! Now that I am officially VP and Newsletter Editor of my old fly club, I'm busier
than a one armed man in an ...
well, you should know a little something about being busy with club matters! :lol:

:thumbup: So, who is up for some fly fishing? Actually, I'm delivering a kicked up version of my lecture I gave to the NFGFC (in PowerPoint, this time) on the 17th @ the FBBF meeting! The Pres (TallyFly) and I have some neat things in mind to help generate some life into the fly club. And, we are hoping some interested individuals from on this site and the NFGFC will meet with us next Monday to bring some "new blood" into the mix! 8)

:smt010 Now, what-a-mess...you will please forgive my tardiness last Saturday but my truck went into V-Fib on Friday and had some major surgery all day Saturday at my son's shop! Believe me, I would have much rather to have been out on the water tossing a fly with Gerald, but...sorry, dude! I will try to better next month, okay! :beer:

:lick: Meanwhile, now that I belong to two fishing clubs in the area, I should stay broke! It's a good darn thing I don't play poker or there would be no monies for new toys, eh? Ya'all who took an interest in my postings the last month or so about fly fishing...well, here is your chance to join our merry group of fly flippers. And, we are looking for some committee members and a couple of club officers, too! Don't be shy now. :D

:smt006 Even if you don't like to be a club official, come on down and have some fun with us because we are planning things right now. Here is a viewer ahead = 1. Famous/Celebrity Guess Speakers; 2. Fly Tying Classes; 3. Rod Building Classes; 4. Fly Fishing Classes; 5. Fly Casting Classes and certification; 6. Club Sponsored Fishing Trips; 7. Raffle on equipment, books, DVD's, Tapes, etc. These are just some of the fun and games being lined up for future events! :)
