Ocheessee

Post by rcrudder »

Water is low, very low. Lower end, south end, has improved concrete ramp. Even with water 6 to 10 feet low, new ramp extends into water.

It is still very hard to catch a decent fish in Ocheessee. But it is easy to load and unload a boat. Iamonia on the other hand . . .

Long time ago (20+ yrs) my dad was in on a lease that bordered Ochese, dove and duck hunting. Woodies used to pour in there. I know there is a public ramp, but cant recall directions.

I have some friends who used to be in that same lease, I'm guessing. Duck and dove lease that had a cabin on Ocheese. Still be interested to know where the ramp is if anyone knows.
