With encouragement from BD I got rid of the skunk:

Brought the fly rod west to visit family in South Walton and Sunday morning was dedicated to taking the kids to the beach. A light northwest wind laid down the waves and the water was crystal clear. I cleaned up on Jacks & Ladyfish. They hit anything I threw but topwater flies were the most fun. The fish ranged from 10" to about 6lbs.
Poor mans Bone fishing. All sight fishing.
A Whole, Whole lot of fun. :D :D :D

"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

Good deal. So far you and Abcarias are the only local Kayakers to get the Silver King to the boat. Looks like the rest of us will have to try it again next year on this end of the state.
