Last time I was in it "3 or 4 months ago" the only fish I saw was LOTS of Mullet, a Red fish, 4 LADY FISH and a few small Bream :o The salt has killed almost all of the Lilly pads and anything else that can't stand the salt intrusion :smt011 :smt013 we need a pile of rain ta get things back to normal

PS: WHERE YA BEEN HIDIN Q?? :-D

Yo Walton, I took a sabbatical over the past 3 or 4 months from the 6 or 8 forums I read, and the couple I contribute to- Just trying to get out the internet rut for a while. I was spending 2 to 4 hours a day just messing with the forums.
Might try to ease back into the forums a little. I miss'em. :D
Sounds like the best freshwater fishing might be further up the Ochlokonee beyond the heavy salt intrusion. And yeah, 15 or 20 inches of rain would improve the situation.
I need to get back into f/w fishin', come to think of it. I miss that, too.

Chuck, I'm in N GA for a few weeks and expect to be back down there by the middle of Oct. I'll give you a call, and maybe we can make a trip over to OSP together, one day. 'Hope you are enjoying retirement, by the way. :D
